Q: What age does your preschool start?
A: We accept children starting at age 2.

 

Q: What grades are included in your Lower School?
A: Our Lower School includes Kindergarten through Grade 4 in 2025. By 2029 it will go up to Grade 8.

 

Q: What are your school hours?
A: School hours are 8:30am–3:30pm for Lower School and 8:30am-12:30pm for Preschool, with optional before and after care available.

 

Q: Are you licensed and accredited?
A: Yes, we are licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) and accredited by Christian Schools of Florida and the National Council for Private Schools.

🧒 Curriculum & Teaching Philosophy

Q: What curriculum do you follow?
A: We offer an age-appropriate academic and play-based curriculum. Our preschool used the brightwheel program and our research-based Lower School curriculum integrates STEAM, phonics-based literacy, cursive handwriting, and social-emotional development in a Christian worldview.

 

Q: What is STEAM education?

A: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Whereas the more common approach is STEM, a STEAM education acknowledges the importance of also developing arts and communication in a well-rounded person.

 

Q: Is your school faith-based?
A: Yes, faith is integrated into our daily routine and values. We welcome families of all faiths who are comfortable with Christian instruction and practices.

 

Q: How do you support children with different learning styles or needs?
A: Our small class sizes allow personalized attention. We also collaborate with specialists when needed and maintain open communication with families. However, in the interests of both the community and individual children, we may be unable to adequately support children with exceptional needs.

 

Q: Do you offer enrichment programs?
A: Yes, music, art, physical education, STEAM activities, and chapel are an important part of our curriculum.

Q: Is there an admissions process?
A: Yes. It includes an application, a family interview or tour, a student visit day, and a review of any prior evaluations or records.

Q: Do you require an assessment for admission?
A: Kindergarten and above may include a brief academic screening to ensure appropriate placement.

 

Q: When does enrollment open?
A: Priority re-enrollment for current families begins in April; new family enrollment opens shortly after.

 

Q: Is there a waitlist?
A: Some classes may have waitlists due to limited enrollment. We recommend applying early.

Q: What is your Preschool tuition for the current school year?
A: Preschool Tuition in 2025 from 1 June involves

  • Application Fee (non-refundable for new students only) $150  

  • Registration Fee of $500

  • Monthly Fee $400 per month per child (Mon-Fri 8:30-12:30)

 

Q: What is your Lower School tuition for the current school year?
A: Lower School Tuition in 2025 from 1 June is

  • Application Fee (non-refundable for new students only) $150  

  • Registration Fee of $500

  • Annual Tuition $10,700 per child less Step Up for Students Contribution (See the current Step Up payment schedule HERE to determine the UA Award Amounts for your child(ren) and HERE for the FTC-FES-EO-PEP-Award-Amounts

Q: Do you offer financial aid or accept scholarships?
A: Yes. We accept Step Up for Students. Parents are responsible for all applications and deadlines.

Q: Are there additional fees?
A: Fees apply for registration, uniforms, lunch, field trips, or extended care.

⏰ Daily Life & Support

Q: Do you offer before and after care?
A: Yes, Morning care from 7:45-8:15am is $7 per family. Extended care after school is from 12:30-5:30pm for Preschool and 3:30-5:30pm for Lower School. Cost is $7 per hour per family.

 

Q: Do students wear uniforms?
A: Yes, Lower School students wear a practical and comfortable school uniform.

 

Q: What is your approach to discipline and behavior?
A: We use a positive discipline model that teaches responsibility and encourages empathy, cooperation, and respectful behavior based on the biblical model of the fruit of the spirit.

 

Q: How do you communicate with parents?
A: Through monthly newsletters, teacher communication apps, parent-teacher conferences, and our secure parent portal.

 
🛡️ Health & Safety

Q: What security measures are in place?
A: Our campus is secure with monitored entry, visitor sign-in procedures, and trained staff. We conduct regular safety drills.

 

Q: What is your sick policy?
A: Children must be fever-free for 24 hours without medication and free of contagious symptoms before returning to school.
