Our Curriculum

Kindergarten through Grade 4

 

• Our standards-based instruction is guided by the Florida State Standards.

• Our teachers attend to the whole child, including the spiritual development, social/emotional development, cognitive development, and physical development of all CCA students.

• We are committed to providing a strong, comprehensive academic structure that incorporates creativity, critical thinking, technology, and community into the core of our lessons and activities.

• We value the role of families in the education of the whole child and seek to foster ways to include and extend support to the parents and guardians as an extension of our CCA Family.​

• All content areas follow a systematic instructional scope and sequence, led by highly credentialed, experienced teachers that use evidence-based instructional strategies.​

• Lessons include built-in differentiated instruction that supports all students and varying learning styles.​​​​

CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY

Technology is utilized extensively at CCA Lower School. Each classroom is equipped with a large projector screen along with an iPad and a surface laptop for each teacher. Every CCA student will be furnished with an Apple iPad to use throughout the 2025-2026 academic year.
